IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A SMARTHOME WITH AT LEAST 3 AVAILABLE RELAYS, THEN YOU ARE READY TO ADD THE ViiW 360 AND START ENJOYING ALL OF THE AWESOME BENEFITS!

IF YOU'RE STARTING FROM SCRATCH, THEN YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT.  BELOW IS THE ACCESSORIES THAT YOU WILL NEED TO GET STARTED ON YOUR JOURNEY TO A SAFER WAY OF LIVING.

Heading 1

Option 1.  You can operate your ViiW 360 with a Hubitat smart hub along with a Zooz Zen16 MultiRelay.  The hubitat app is user friendly and the user is able to add Zigbee and Z-wave accessories to enhance security.  The Hubitat creates a local network that allows user to control devices even when internet interuptions occure.
The Zooz Zen16 MultiRelay has 3 dry contacts which allows the user to add up to three wall switches for manual control of device.

Option 2.  The Sonoff 4CH Pro R3 is also a great option when choosing a smarthome device to control the ViiW 360.  It has 4 relay channels so it has 3 channels dedicated to the ViiW 360 for operating 1. Strobe light, 2. Siren, and 3. Address numbers, but also has an additional relay channel that can be used to activate a garage door opener which allows homeowner access to opening garage door for package delivery or even guest.

Legrand On-Q EN 2000 is a great choice for a media panel to keep all your accessories located.  It has options to wall mount or inset with a flush mount.  It also has punchouts for wires as well as for plug outlets which is helpful for hiding wires.

A cat5 splitter is fairly inexpensive and allows user to run 4 Cat5 cables to the cameras and then reduce to only one cable connecting to router.  Our cameras are Wi-Fi capable, but always test connectivity before installing post or burying cables to ensure distance and/or obstructions do not interfere with connectivity.

Our cameras are Wi-Fi capable, but if you are running cameras a long distance from router( around 75ft. depending on wall structures in direct path of cameras)  or if you want to direct connect cameras to your router then you will want to use Cat5 cables.  We suggest placing a five port ethernet spliiter in your control pannel where you will be able to run 1 line in to the panel and 4 lines out to the cameras.

We suggest using 18/7 sprinkler wire to run power from power supply in media panel to the ViiW 360.  You will only use 6 wires for connection in the panel as well as the post itself which gives an extra wire for backup.

The ViiW 360 is a low voltage product.  We suggest all wires and cables be placed in conduit when running lines to protect from the enviroment.  Low voltage wires should be placed at least 6 inches deep and always call your local DIG facility before digging for line marking.  We have designed the ViiW 360 to be installed by most people with working knowledge of electronics.  If you feel in anyway uncomfortable about installation then please call an electrician for assistance.
